Hey there! I'm not exactly new, per se, but a (forgetful) returning member! Like most folks around here I played HL back in the day (under various different names I've forgotten by now) from around 2004-05 until the site change and I lost interest. I didn't hear about HP until mid 2012 and was active here with Russian Arabians and doing graphics until 2013, when college ate me alive (and my laptop at the time bit the dust).

In any case, I'm back and hoping to get into the swing of things! I haven't decided what to start back up training and breeding, so if anyone has suggestions or a particular interest in seeing another (small-time) breeder of something specific, let me know! c;

I do have one burning question, though - how is the market for graphics lately? I have examples of past works linked on my profile and would love to get back into doing commissions; what are the going rates in today's HP economy? The prices ranges I have are all from what I was charging in 2013 so I'd like to update them if they're obsolete!

If you're interested in picking up dogs I have some ACDS that I'm giving away 100% free as the ACD ambassador! The dogs are already a couple of years old with a couple hundred thousand points, and as mentioned are 100% free! 

If you're interested in horses, Oldenburgs are a good breed and competitive but with a small community. Paints have a large community and are also super competitive. Depends on your interest. Also, you can check out the embassay page and see if any of those breeds jump out at you!

I'm currently doing quarter horses. I know me and at least two others are also breeding them right now if you're interested in starting them up. I normally try to raffel them off every few months while they're being trained.

As for the graphics, they're amazing!! ♥ I'd def add one to the auctions without an auto buy maybe and see what they go for! :D

Thanks for all the input so far! I'll definitely have to look into the auctions as a starting point - I don't think I ever tried them before my impromptu hiatus.

As for what to breed, I'm probably leaning toward something more common to keep my interest steady, though I'm not necessarily looking to jump straight into shooting for rankings or anything. (Maybe QHs? Arabians?) I'm the most indecisive creature on the planet Earth so we'll see. :Y
