Blueberry-Cranberry Sauce

I found this recipe which is a twist (hate that word, haha) on the classic cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving and I am thinking of making it. But I usually do a cranberry glaze on the actual turkey so that I don't have to worry about the skin browning evenly, so I'm not sure if it will really go. What do you think? http://www.averiecooks.com/2013/11/cabernet-cranberry-and-blueberry-sauce.html |

I love how the article starts out "Drinking wine and eating jam are two things Iβm great at."Β haha. Β I think it sounds delish but I would refrain from putting it on the main dish until it's tried and true. Β Maybe do your traditional way and have this as a side to see how it goes over. Β If you get rave reviews you'll know to add it for next year! ![]() |

Yeah, I'm definitely going to do it as a side! But I'm going to do the same cranberry glaze I always do on the bird, which is why I'm wondering if this will be too much fruit? This is the glaze recipe I use:Β http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/giada-de-laurentiis/cranberry-orange-glazed-turkey-recipe.html |

I don't think so! Thanksgiving needs more fruit! |
