it's spring for me!! the weather isn't all the way showing it yet, but we've made it through the worst of winter and it will slowly get better and better. I've been daydreaming for the last two months about my most looked forward to summer plans. pretty simple. riding again! and I adore laying out in the sun in the pool. I can't wait for that first UV index 10 day and soaking in the warm sun on a floatie with a drink. I lost 80lbs over the last year. so last summer wasn't really fun for me, but now that I've hit my weight goal I am really excited to just enjoy it this time.

I'm moving to Florida this June, my sister is due to have a baby in July so this summer, I'm so excited for all the big changes!

How exciting!! A big move, becoming an auntie! I would love to move to Florida, but Texas it is. In a few years! My cousin is having a baby in September, she asked me to be in her room when she does her water birth for support. I am honored and excited to see a baby born, I've never seen that part of life! A safe delivery for your sister love! 

We are in Florida right now on vacay and we keep thinking about moving here. xD We keep saying it will be our "second house" LOL....someday

Otherwise I'm looking forward to getting together with my besties who I haven't seen for several months now. 
Looking forward to doing some camping in our new [to us] RV. 
Soaking up the sun, spending time on the water. Just being able to step outside without a coat.
Our wedding anniversary is in June and I have the week off but not sure what plans are for that yet...maybe camping? Maybe Door County? 

Moving outta California FINALLY!!!
Hoping to secure some kind of horsey-related job, and find a new barn family to belong to. We have an apartment we're wanting to lease lined up, it's just now waiting until a unit comes available when we move and all those little details fine tuning and crossing off our to-do lists.
I'm just so ready to be able to enjoy life again!

Well for my summer in... *sniffs* 8 months *sobs*...
We're going to put a verandah on our deck and knock a wall out and put french doors in so we can actually eat outside without burning to death! QoL improvement!

Omg Skell I actually feel so bad for you muffin. I love fall but if that's what we were going back into I would just melt into the floor like the wicked witch of the west. I'm sorry! 😢 

BV shut up, you get to move out of California finally?? Where to?? Crossing my fingers it all falls easily into place for you guys.

Pants, I need a vacay badddd. Lucky butt. We have a camper but an RV would be awesome. I am excited for you, where you going first? 

Probably some nearby state parks! I can't wait for the campfires and s'mores. :D

Still Texas, we will be closer to family, and also a much shorter flight back to Missouri for visits! :D

Winter was really, really bad in many ways this year so honestly I am just happy for warmer weather and get out and enjoy some nature.

However I do have tickets to go see Ghost in July, so I do have something awesome to look forward to! :D

Omg BV that's so weird. We are moving to Texas in the next 3 years, once Chris retires. Maybe we'll end up close to each other in the end! 

Kiyoko girl I feel you on a hard winter. Mine wasn't as bad as some previous years but I hate winter every year, regardless I just try to grit through it. I can't wait to move to a climate that does not get cold. So I'm there with you, so thankful it's over! 

I'm taking Ember to a huge Dog Resort camping place in a few weeks with these adorable little cabins & Im hoping to do a LOT more stuff like that this summer :D

Honestly I just pray we actually have a summer this year, that's my only plan, enjoy what little sun England gets this year, last year we got like 8 days worth spread out 🥲

Riding season is going to start up again soon for me.  I don't ride in the winter as i hate being cold.  But in May i have a Cowboy Dressage clinic and show.  June i have a Breakaway clinic and a Higher Horsemanship clinic and in July i have a Cowboy Trail Ride.  August i am going to a medieval fair September unsure yet!! i am so excited for what is going to be a great summer.  I have most of my debt paid off so i can do a little bit of what i want! :)
