November's Player of the Month!:D A Huge Congratulations to Gothika!Gothika (#212) has been chosen to be in this month's spotlight! They have a sharp artistic eye and an even kinder soul! Community Chatter "Gothi is a sweetheart and has been around for a while! Always kind in chat and has a killer aesthetic with images!" "Very friendly and easy to talk to! She always participates too!" The Interview Questions! Anyone who wins P.o.t.M. can answer as many or all of the questions as they feel comfortable answering! ......HP Questions...... 1. How did you first learn about us? Like many, from HL 2. What is your favorite thing about HP? Definitely the community! I have made so many long-term friends here! 3. How long have you been playing for? My second account has an 11 year achievement. That account was made on 2011-02-09. I switched mains a while ago which made the member achievements a bit weird. 4. How did you come up with your player name? I used to dress (cyber)goth all the time, and my stepbrother was calling me this and writing it this way. That was many, many years ago even before the movie! That name just stuck with me, and Itās developed in a brand name with its own ( self-made) logo and all š 5. What is your favorite breed of horse or dog to train? My Straight Egyptians, and soon Shepweilers! 6. What caused you to pick the breed(s) you train and breed? Experience with SEAS on a stable I used to work at. And Iāll also be starting Shepweilers because I used to own one. 7. How do you come up with names for your animals? I use Rinkworks. They generate random names, but sometimes I come up with a name randomly. 8. What are your current goals on HP? Iām happy with any horses reaching 1 mill. My goal for the top 4 is 2 mill. 9. Do you have a favorite animal? (It can be your own or another playerās you admire!) Kayleen # 300903 Sheās based off of my real-life horse 10. Whoās your go-to graphic artist or coder? Are there any services you offer? I make graphics :) I can code, but I rather not XD Absolutely LOVE Mangoās coding. Iām a big admirer for the patience and time they put into that. 11. What is your favorite Site-Wide yearly event? 24 days of Christmas/Mini- Christmas in July 12. What other contests or activities do you usually participate in? Puzzling, wordsearches, creativity (Pumpkin drawing for example), photography. 13. Do you have any training or breeding tips to share? Whenever your horse has a club membership, donāt forget to enter those shows! 14. Which seasonal layout art is your favorite? The fall layout! (And āDark modeā) 15. If you could change one thing about HP, what would it be and why? Iāve been playing with the idea to pinch this in; maybe a search by player name or # in the shows section. Because I just like to enter my own public shows aswell as friends shows. 16. What do you spend most of your time on HP doing? Training, thinking about hoarding more animals, browsing forumsā¦ I also love chatting, whenever I have the time. But the time difference sometimes makes it hard because I live in HPās future, about 6 hours beyond HP time XD 17. What is your favorite Club? Donāt have any =) ......Real Life & Random Questions...... 1. Where are you from? The Netherlands 2. Does your place of residence have any sort of quirky history fact or legend/tradition, and if so, what is it? There is a grave in the little forest of our city. That grave belongs to earls, countesses, etc. Itās said they still haunt the woods, and the āwitches leavesā (which are ferns), are proof. They say the Countessās horse lays in front of the grave, and you can sometimes see and hear them riding trough the forest. I made many haunted pictures there, and I always get the creeps lol. Also the town I live in is known widespread for their massive textile production. 2 other companies come from here too: Stork, which makes energy installations and Bolletje, which is known for beschuit, pepernoten etc (rusk/biscuits, peppernuts, cookies, etc) 3. What do you do for work? Im an activity supervisor/art mentor for minorities 4. Do you own any horses or dogs? I own 2 dogs and they are both rescues from Bulgaria. 5. Do you have any other types of pets at home? None :) 6. What are your favorite breeds of horse and dog? I like big dogs. Rottweilers, shepherds, American Staffords, Bullmastiffs and any crossbreeds of these. 7. Do you have any hobbies? If so, what are they? Art, Reading, Gaming and Music. I like swimming and walking trough nature 8. Whatās your favorite color? Purple #33233e 9. Whatās your favorite Holiday or Month? October IS and ISNāt my favourite. On the upside there is a lot of Art challenges in October. There is the late Harvest Festivals. The mark of the end of the Summerā¦Beautifull leaves, cozyness, herby smells... Those are all things I love. Generally it still has some warm days, and some cool, rainy days ( perfect for reading with a cup of hot chocolate) The spooky stuff, where you can listen to old tales and legends which I LOVE! Itās the perfect month, BUT I lost my mom and grandmother in October many years ago. Which also makes me sad some days. 10. Do you have a favorite vacation spot? If so, what or where is it? Iāve been to Egypt when I was 8 and Iād love to revisit. My memories are great, underwater was beautiful. Iāve visited The Dead Sea, the deserts, the pyramids, the Cairo museum. I have photos, but Iād love to go back. 11. Do you have any special talents? If so, what are they? Chaos is my talent, lol. I hear Iām a talented artist. 12. If you could own any breed of horse, what would it be and why? Andalusian. Because theyāre beautifull, and good at dressage. 13. If you could own any breed of dog, what would it be and why? A Rottweiler or another shepweiler. I love their loyalty, energy and spirits 14. If you could meet any celebrity, who would it be and why? Iām not into celebrities much, But 1 band Iāve never seen and would LOVE to meet is Diary of Dreams, because they have been my go to band since I was 12 years old. 15. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why? Iād love to visit the Maldives for a honeymoon (if ever) or maybe even GOA(India) once. 16. What would be your dream job? Iām working towards my own gallery 17. What would be your dream meal of choice? Turkish pizza, filled with vegetables. I sometimes order that for takeout. Itās my comfort food. 18. What is the top thing on your Bucket List? Getting my Art studio together, so I can learn people how to paint and draw! 19. What talent do you wish you had? The talent of having energy like neurotypical people do. (I have ADD and Iām tiredā¦ A LOT) 20. What is your favorite ice cream flavor? I found cinnamon Ice Cream and thatās the absolute best, especially if you pair it with some hot homemade chunky apple sauce or warm applepie! 21. What is something you fear? doctors and Hospitals (Literally causes me to have my blood pressure trough the roof even being there in the waiting room, and fainting/anxiety attacksā¦..) no thanks! 22. Whatās the funniest joke you heard recently? I love HP so much! You Donut even know! 23. What Meme do you currently relate to? (please provide the pic link) Clicky! 24. Any good books or comics that youāve read recently? The Wheel Of Time ā Robert Jordan ( Recommended by you lovely people!) 25. Any good movies or shows youāve seen lately? A Discovery of Witches 26. What is your go-to show to stream? (Via Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc.) Netflix, generally 27. If you could transport yourself to any decade of past history, what would it be and why? 18th century. I love the clothing and arts of that time! 28. What is your favorite kind of pizza? Congrats Gothi - Kayleen is super cute and I love the story of your hometown! There was a haunted forest where I grew up too, and I used to stand at the entrance as a child but couldn't go further than 15m in without feeling like I was having a cardiac arrest!! Congrats again on POTM :) |
